Parrots's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuele Michelini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Witold Kazczyk put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bianco Graziani. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Zachariasz Maruda put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN:s Mieszko Rukszcz showed great skill when he stopped Alvaro Filippini:s penalty. ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's Mieszko Rukszcz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN from getting a goal against them. When Alvaro Filippini came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the F.C. Parrots fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Filippini couldn't finish the play. Emanuele Michelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mieszko Rukszcz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuele Michelini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mieszko Rukszcz having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Filippini came free, but Mieszko Rukszcz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emanuele Michelini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alfred Buda made the kick off in the second half. Lukasz Dubiel struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Bianco Graziani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN. Leszek Parajewski's late challenge caught a F.C. Parrots's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leszek Parajewski helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN got a freekick which was hit by Leszek Parajewski. In the 61st minute, Diego Santoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cosimo Petrosino fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Parrots's protests and gave Cosimo Petrosino a yellow card for diving instead. Cosimo Petrosino hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's Mieszko Rukszcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Petrosino in the 74th minute of play. Mieszko Rukszcz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Petrosino in the 76th minute of the match. Emanuele Michelini might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mieszko Rukszcz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuele Michelini ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Witomir Mudry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Biagio Chiappini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfred Buda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's Hugon Klawke managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Augusto Perilli in the 92 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, F.C. Parrots's Diego Santoro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Alfred Buda came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Buda couldn't finish the play. Emanuele Michelini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mieszko Rukszcz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
