Odell Gagne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Kazczyk in the 5th minute of the match. Jaime Brandt's late challenge caught a ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The tension between the ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN and the Big Flats Airport AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot by Shane Sanderson from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Mieszko Rukszcz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Shane Sanderson was slow to take the kick. During this time Big Flats Airport AFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jason Stout got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mieszko Rukszcz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Witomir Mudry fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's protests and gave Witomir Mudry a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Big Flats Airport AFC booed when ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Mudry didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Lukasz Dubiel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Odell Gagne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's zone, Ward Sprague stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mieszko Rukszcz came out of the goal and Ward Sprague tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfred Buda struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Odell Gagne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN. The crowd rose to their feet as Ward Sprague kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mieszko Rukszcz. That made the score 1-2 in the 48 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ward Sprague was the one to do the kick off. Mieszko Rukszcz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terrell Cates in the 55th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Alfred Buda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Odell Gagne. Alfred Buda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After 64 minutes of play ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN's Witomir Mudry was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 65th match minute, ZZPD GÓRNIK LUBIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Mudry to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ward Sprague in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mieszko Rukszcz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Big Flats Airport AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Buda came free, but Odell Gagne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Ward Sprague got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
