Baron Buffon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Santos's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match Samurai Champions FC got a corner. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reynaldo Froila ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Reynaldo Froila almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Nuralp Başdemir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Márcio de Brito. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Santos in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Samurai Champions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Nuralp Başdemir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Samurai Champions FC were awarded a corner. Reynaldo Froila went to the cornerflag to take it. Reynaldo Froila struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Baron Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samurai Champions FC. In the 43rd minute, Peter Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Nuralp Başdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuralp Başdemir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuralp Başdemir made a kick off. Márcio de Brito came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Nuralp Başdemir. But to his dismay, Nuralp Başdemir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Márcio de Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuralp Başdemir's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Huang Zhan Xuan's late challenge caught a Samurai Champions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Huang Zhan Xuan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Los Muñes de Don Cuco getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Huang Zhan Xuan hit a great ball. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss was substituted for Nuralp Başdemir. Samurai Champions FC's Acácio Tavares was substituted for Reynaldo Froila. A collision led to Los Muñes de Don Cuco getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Huang Zhan Xuan hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Valentín Pascal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baron Buffon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Peter Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baron Buffon was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, Peter Santos notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Baron Buffon. Baron Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentín Pascal hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Rien Oss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Márcio de Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Bradley Barrett kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Samurai Champions FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Acácio Tavares in the 85th minute. Samurai Champions FC's Acácio Tavares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baron Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cido Recife struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Baron Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samurai Champions FC. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Cido Recife took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Baron Buffon to make any attempt to save it.
