Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronaldo Joinvilense took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Zé Augusto Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Remedios SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galo do Japi the free kick. In the 4th minute, Zé Augusto Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Remedios SC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Chivu Quintana hit a great ball. Jean dos Santos came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Joinvilense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Joinvilense came free, but Jean dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Joinvilense's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 24th minute of the match Fernandinho Botelho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean dos Santos skillfully saved the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Anderson de Brito hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Chivu Quintana sped through Galo do Japi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Delfim Chaves. 34 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean dos Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Galo do Japi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Laerte Caca-Rato in the 35th minute. Ronaldo Joinvilense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean dos Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The corner led Galo do Japi's Laerte Caca-Rato to fire away a dangerous shot which Jean dos Santos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 45th minute, Cícero Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chivu Quintana to strike the kick off in the second half. Ronaldo Joinvilense let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 52nd minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. With 62 minutes on the clock, Laerte Moraes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 62 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Moraes. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Delfim Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, Remedios SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Jean dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chivu Quintana in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Ronaldo Joinvilense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galo do Japi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Jean dos Santos came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Joinvilense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Remedios SC's Jean dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Catarinense in the 79th minute of play. Ronaldo Joinvilense succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-9 in the 80th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jean dos Santos. That made the score 1-10 after 89 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Catarinense kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jean dos Santos. That made the score 1-11 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Galo do Japi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Remedios SC throughout the match.
