Bebeto Campidelis came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Joel Catarinense. But to his dismay, Joel Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 17th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Galo do Japi's Corryn Veloz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bebeto Campidelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Divina Comédia FC's goalie prevented a goal. Geraldo Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Galo do Japi getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ronaldo Joinvilense hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Joel Catarinense made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Divina Comédia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Joel Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo do Japi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Galo do Japi's Bebeto Campidelis threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Catarinense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 57th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Catarinense came free, but Bebeto Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Joel Catarinense took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Bebeto Campidelis to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ronaldo Joinvilense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galo do Japi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Joinvilense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Campidelis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Divina Comédia FC's Luiz Fabiano Gøl in 73 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Delfim Chaves guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a defensive mix-up in Galo do Japi's zone, Geraldo Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Chaves came out of the goal and Geraldo Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Corryn Veloz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bebeto Campidelis. That made the score 0-5 in the 76 minute of play. Bebeto Campidelis was a little too slow when Ronaldo Joinvilense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-6.
