Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerónimo Leiria in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vivaldo Belém. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berto Guine in the 18th minute of play. After 36 played minutes, Peru's Luz Tejedor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel Pedroso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peru reached it. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Vivaldo Belém tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Pedroso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Berto Guine got a free kick in the 45th minute. Miguel Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerónimo Leiria to strike the kick off in the second half. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edgar Zarco in the 51 minute of the game. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Miguel Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of play. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Moises Gayoso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miguel Pedroso quite easily take care of the ball. 55 minutes in the game, Eliseo Mina fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Miguel Pedroso having to interfere. Miguel Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. After 59 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Pedroso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Pedroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play.
