Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Dacian Ghițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 15th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Felix Mihăilescu sent off a good shot on target. After 26 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Rotariu. After a defensive mix-up in PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dacian Ghițescu came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dacian Ghițescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tiberiu Rotariu made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Felix Mihăilescu however managed to control. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tiberiu Rotariu hit a great ball. After 43 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dacian Ghițescu was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Golo Phoenix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Sorin Nicorici broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Jupân, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dacian Ghițescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Phoenix in the 82nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Dacian Ghițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristinel Uncheşelu in the 88 minute of the game. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Sorin Nicorici made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. 92 minutes into the game, Sorin Nicorici threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 96 minutes into the game, Valentín Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca the free kick.
