The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC ICEWIND DALE's goalie and right to Diego Bradley. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC ICEWIND DALE's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of FC ICEWIND DALE booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jenson Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Marinho took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Fernando Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuno Lüdimõis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's goalkeeper Kuno Lüdimõis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monty Rogers. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ding Beckham, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. In the 68th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Mcdonald to maneuver through the defense. Kuno Lüdimõis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 71st minute of the match. FC ICEWIND DALE made a substitution. Wincent Debowski replaced Boguslaw Zdeb. FC ICEWIND DALE's Patryk Ranowiecki was substituted for Fernando Marinho. 85 minutes into the match, Patryk Ranowiecki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patryk Ranowiecki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FC ICEWIND DALE from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 90th minute of play forced FC ICEWIND DALE's goalkeeper Kuno Lüdimõis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Khalid Parry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC ICEWIND DALE were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
