Benedicto Bihar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Chile's attentive Jose Manzanedo managed to snatch the ball when Lorenzo James made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batıkan Muhsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batıkan Muhsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Bernardo Sasso got away a dangerous shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedicto Bihar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batıkan Muhsin. The referee showed Oğuzalp Yetiş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oğuzalp Yetiş kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
