Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Attila Mesterházy. Attila Mesterházy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Panama booed when Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karel Suryoprayogo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Attila Mesterházy in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when László Madaras came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Mesterházy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC made a substitution. Calistrat Tomulescu replaced Karel Suryoprayogo. In the 81st minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. Lukács Pető thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Attila Mesterházy, a very annoying self made goal in the 81st minute which led to 0-3. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. Panama's Dylan Sarmiento suffered a sore thigh after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When László Csank fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's protests and gave László Csank a yellow card for diving instead. Panama made a substitution. Alberto Sainz replaced Dylan Sarmiento. László Csank kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Attila Mesterházy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Sarmiento's late challenge caught a Fortuna Balassagyarmat FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
