Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a Swatar United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Mario Salerno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brian Blanco was slow to take the kick. During this time Swatar United FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Guo Lin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Patryk Siekierski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of the match. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Mario Salerno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Swatar United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guo Lin in the 42nd minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Salerno to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Pârcălab went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 54 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swatar United FC the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Swatar United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiratorn Wongsanam to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Patryk Siekierski - 3-1 was put on the score board in the 60th minute. When Swatar United FC's Mario Salerno in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Swatar United FC made a substitution. David Amato Gauci replaced Mario Salerno. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Patricio Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Patryk Siekierski made a huge save. In the 82nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 97 played minutes Swatar United FC got a freekick which was hit by Cem Güler. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Swatar United FC fully deserved thier win.
