Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivan Navarro charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Navarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Karl-Michael Brask sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 16th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask. But to his dismay, Karl-Michael Brask quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 22nd minute of play. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Michael Brask fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerxes Doro in the 34th minute of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Brask to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute of play. Ulisses Doro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xerxes Doro in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Michael Brask to make the kick off. If Karl-Michael Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 55th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Moises Tafalla. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 60th minute of play. When Petru Novacovici fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's protests and gave Petru Novacovici a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Petru Novacovici. The supporters of Honduras booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xerxes Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Michael Brask was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionuț Contra hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Karl-Michael Brask ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Peter made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Karl-Michael Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
