In the 37th minute of the match, Gus Weir got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfie Downing, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Chelsea the free kick. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Chelsea fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
