Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Luty having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kazimierz Luty was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kazimierz Luty. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Kazimierz Luty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. From close distance Cristian Sancho pressed in the 0-4 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 64 minutes into the game. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kazimierz Luty having to make a save. A collision led to Sails Stitinum getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kazimierz Luty was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kazimierz Luty. The goal made the score 0-9. 94 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Kazimierz Luty was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
