Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Hunor Csapó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Hunor Csapó despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franky Ooms got free with Julio Vera in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hunor Csapó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Voicu in the 19th minute of play. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Buffalo Timişoara's Franky Ooms fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Franky Ooms came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Voicu. Valentin Voicu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franky Ooms. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Adrian Zbora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buffalo Timişoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Zbora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Zbora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 39th minute, Orhan Ortanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hunor Csapó narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Hunor Csapó despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Buffalo Timişoara's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hunor Csapó came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franky Ooms stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hunor Csapó having to interfere. In the 57th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hunor Csapó was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 59 minutes Buffalo Timişoara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Ooms in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hunor Csapó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Voicu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match Vali Voicescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hunor Csapó. That made the score 0-1 in the 75 minute of play. Buffalo Timişoara made a substitution. Maxim Pintilie replaced Dorin Oravițan. Buffalo Timişoara's Magno Dantas was substituted for Pavel Chibulcutean. Buffalo Timişoara made a substitution. Kiko Pirani replaced Valentin Voicu. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Hunor Csapó to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Buffalo Timişoara from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hunor Csapó. Hunor Csapó yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Hunor Csapó made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hunor Csapó didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
