Scrotum Kickers FC were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Boguslaw Domamir took the corner. The corner led Scrotum Kickers FC's Boguslaw Domamir to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Facundo Cadaval charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Facundo Cadaval the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosmin Donecea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Donecea in the 51st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosmin Donecea took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Maradona in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boguslaw Domamir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Per-Oskar Söderström made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Eutropio came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scrotum Kickers FC's Rudolf Gråberg was substituted for Gonzalo Maradona. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Scrotum Kickers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Per-Oskar Söderström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Gråberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Boguslaw Domamir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute Zbigniew Furlit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosmin Donecea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Luca Zorita took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Oskar Söderström. Per-Oskar Söderström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Gråberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Scrotum Kickers FC's Rudolf Gråberg in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
