Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cirilo Salvino made the kick off which started today's match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Rodrigo Massó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Salvino in the 4th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Simon Ferrer put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. In the 19thth minute of the game Simon Ferrer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Massó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigo Massó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Sebastián Puig in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Simon Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Massó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Massó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Salvino in the 47th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After 52 played minutes PLUMIN got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Ayala. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodrigo Massó could save by the left post. Rodrigo Massó made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Massó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Massó made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Ferrer in the 76th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Rodrigo Massó in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teobaldo Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Ferrer in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Higinio Eguzki kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. PLUMIN were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
