Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Binali Akgöl sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beşir Sehrud in the 13th minute of play. Beşir Sehrud succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. 19 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Namık Hinoğlu. ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 24thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s Namık Hinoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Namık Hinoğlu came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İshak Çakıroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beşir Sehrud in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Namık Hinoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Bülent Polatkan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Bülent Polatkan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Binali Akgöl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute İshak Çakıroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Namık Hinoğlu was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Namık Hinoğlu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ☾★ кıяşєнιяѕρσя ☾★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Criss Kent didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İshak Çakıroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
