After some careless play in the Arsenal FC defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Songur Yoran. The Arsenal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Songur Yoran should have stopped the shot. Songur Yoran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Pål Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Brochu went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Arsenal FC's Damaso Orlin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Damaso Orlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Orlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songur Yoran having to interfere. Dante Lacasa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Arsenal FC's Damaso Orlin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Mancebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Arsenal FC's Songur Yoran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 54th minute of play. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Orlin's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71stth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal FC's Songur Yoran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songur Yoran having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Brochu in the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Songur Yoran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Luca Zorita put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Songur Yoran. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Arsenal FC made a substitution. Einar Hedström replaced Teodosio Figueroa. Arsenal FC's Matthias Löfgren was substituted for David Brochu. In the 84th minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Arsenal FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Patrik Melberg hit a great ball. Joel Gaona's shot from long distance in the 86th minute was not bad at all, but Arsenal FC's Songur Yoran knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Songur Yoran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
