Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Felix Gines made the kick off which started today's match. Mexico's Luca Zorita pulled a muscle in his leg after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Alonzo Ekialde charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Ekialde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13th play minutes Joel Gaona shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Isidoro Dolfos and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Club Almirante Brown booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Benedicto Chale scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 1-1. After 25 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Leoz. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Almirante Brown's Benedicto Chale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Benedicto Chale scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 3-1. Justo Paublo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Dolfos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Isidoro Dolfos in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Dolfos saved Club Almirante Brown from getting behind. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 57th minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Isidoro Dolfos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Prospero Abad got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Vladimiro Remigio hit a great ball. Severo Venceslas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Isidoro Dolfos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joel Gaona. Benedicto Chale scored 4-2 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Alonzo Ekialde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Almirante Brown's Wilfredo Segio was substituted for Felix Gines. 80 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Isidoro Dolfos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. A collision led to Club Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Prospero Abad hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Isidoro Dolfos in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Segio, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Isidoro Dolfos made a huge save. A collision led to Club Almirante Brown getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Alonzo Ekialde hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Club Almirante Brown could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
