The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihnea Plăcintă showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Luisinho Uribe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damian Budianu was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's players had a chance to rest. 21 minutes into the match, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Mihnea Plăcintă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihnea Plăcintă saved Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Damian Budianu made a great header on Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Mihnea Plăcintă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Mihnea Plăcintă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mihnea Plăcintă was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Michael-Peter Villa's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael-Peter Villa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
