Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Jarstein saved Hertha 1969 from getting behind. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Hovermann's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner. Moritz Hasenjäger went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 23rd minute, Nils Hovermann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Jarstein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Elenescu in the 39th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nils Hovermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moritz Hasenjäger took the corner. Zé Paulo da Silva scored 2-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils Hovermann to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Hertha 1969 defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Jarstein. The Hertha 1969 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Jarstein should have stopped the shot. When Nils Hovermann came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Hertha 1969 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Hovermann couldn't finish the play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Hovermann in the 61st minute of play. Rune Jarstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 63rd minute. When Hertha 1969's Nils Hovermann in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute of the match Chile got a corner. Hertha 1969's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lüder Roppel tried in the 93rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Rune Jarstein a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-2. 96 minutes into the match, Zé Paulo da Silva notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hertha 1969 had won after a very even match.
