USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Jokin in the 15th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gabriel Mónos came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Marno F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Mónos couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the game, Igor Jokin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Day. Igor Jokin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 28th minute of play forced Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Mónos. Lázaro Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Mónos. Marno F.C. were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lázaro Cefero took the corner. The Marno F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Beltxe should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Jokin to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Jokin came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Gabriel Mónos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marno F.C.'s Igor Jokin. But to his dismay, Igor Jokin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Aldo Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Koby Fletcher hit a great ball. Marno F.C.'s Lázaro Cefero got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lázaro Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marno F.C. made a substitution. Cristobal Dominix replaced Uriel Asier. Marno F.C. made a substitution. Clodoveo Regis replaced Gabriel Mónos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 83rd minute of play forced Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Regis in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee gave Marno F.C. a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lázaro Cefero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of USA's Marco Day. 4-1. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Many of USA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. USA may have spent more time on the ball, but Marno F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
