Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peru's Alonso Berganza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aurel Crivoi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. It was beautiful to see Peru's Luz Tejedor in action when he in the 22nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Hugo in the 24th minute of the match. Aurel Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the game Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. 37 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurel Crivoi. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 40th minute Hector Hugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Crivoi having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi. Aurel Crivoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Hugo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Emmanuel Reyes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Máté Gulyás quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hector Hugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. The supporters of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 86th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Offendahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Offendahl came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. After 93 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. Marius Neset might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marius Neset ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Aurel Crivoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
