Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Aureliusz Mietus sent off a good shot on target. Aureliusz Mietus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's Aureliusz Mietus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 18 minutes, Przemyslaw Zahemski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxy Team U18 and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Marek Skoroda came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Galaxy Team U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Skoroda couldn't finish the play. After having played for 24 minutes, Leonard Furgat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaxy Team U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Furgat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Leonard Furgat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Aureliusz Mietus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliusz Mietus got free with Benito Sanz in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Galaxy Team U18's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonard Furgat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Axel Tasis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kazimierz Podolski. Galaxy Team U18's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aureliusz Mietus struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galaxy Team U18.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonard Furgat to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Kazimierz Podolski made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Mietus in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. With 64 minutes on the clock, Alexander Carballo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! In the 68th minute Aureliusz Mietus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galaxy Team U18's Fryderyk Wolicki managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 69 minute of the game. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Furgat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Furgat in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Galaxy Team U18 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Furgat in the 79th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Galaxy Team U18 got a freekick which was hit by Fryderyk Wolicki. 83 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Galaxy Team U18's Leonard Furgat quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Axel Tasis's late challenge caught a Galaxy Team U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Tasis helped the player get up and apologised. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the game, Aureliusz Mietus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galaxy Team U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Galaxy Team U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliusz Mietus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Galaxy Team U18 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
