An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 4th minute of play forced Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Baltasar Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Almiron's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sacro Balompié's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Almiron in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Apolo Peto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Bieito in the 19th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Almiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Almiron did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 34 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Baltasar Sancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Almiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sacro Balompié was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Sacro Balompié's Aquiles Bieito made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Sacro Balompié's Teobaldo Bernal was substituted for Aquiles Bieito. In the 67th minute Miguel Almiron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Gaueko came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Bernal scored 5-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Victorio Jax notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Miguel Almiron sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 82 minutes into the match, Miguel Almiron notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Almiron in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute, Rafael Márquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Almiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sacro Balompié walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
