Radamel Hendrickx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Unai Sócrates. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 14th minute of play. Milagros Fraga scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radamel Hendrickx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Radamel Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radamel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unai Sócrates who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Rolando Noboa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Peru's Milagros Fraga got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Unai Sócrates reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-1. Unai Sócrates could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Radamel Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Fauna Utd getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Leopold Van den Paenhuysen hit a great ball. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Unai Sócrates sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Unai Sócrates stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Unai Sócrates tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radamel Hendrickx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Pieterjan Anteunis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Mina. 60 minutes into the game, Milagros Fraga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fauna Utd's Teodoro Esquipula quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Portugal in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Pieterjan Anteunis. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Radamel Hendrickx made a huge save. Radamel Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Portugal in the 74th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Portugal took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Portugal in the 77th minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Fauna Utd's attentive 董文鹰 managed to snatch the ball when Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unai Sócrates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octav Zdraşcu made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pieterjan Anteunis immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Gallo got free with Radamel Hendrickx in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Peru's Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fauna Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Fauna Utd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
