Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mieszko Percha was slow to take the kick. During this time KS Junior's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to KS Junior's Lech Kasprzak getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Wawrzyniec Cebula came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Michal Karp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Junior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Karp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Karp in the 19th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Karp in the 28th minute of the match. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Brytan having to interfere. Wawrzyniec Brytan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 37 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mieszko Percha who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to KS Junior's Cristian Mohora getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Camilo Gisbert made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by KS Junior's Mieszko Percha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Karp in the 46th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristian Sancho fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Cristian Sancho a yellow card for diving instead.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Karp in the 54th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Cristian Mohora. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 65th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wawrzyniec Brytan. The goal made the score 1-1. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Wawrzyniec Brytan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KS Junior's Mieszko Percha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Camilo Gisbert, made in the 77th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Michal Karp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michal Karp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because KS Junior had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
