Youth Academy Of Rhye's Robin Vaktarhus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Panama booed when Youth Academy Of Rhye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Balaban didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Youth Academy Of Rhye getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Abdulaziz Onurkan hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, David Balaban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 38th minute of play forced Youth Academy Of Rhye's goalkeeper Robin Vaktarhus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Panama were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Panama's Jose Carita got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Robin Vaktarhus in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute Youth Academy Of Rhye were awarded a corner. Luo Sen Jian went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Luo Sen Jian almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla did a great save. In the 88th match minute, Youth Academy Of Rhye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Kruuse to maneuver through the defense. Alex Cambeiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Panama played a much better game than Youth Academy Of Rhye and deserved their victory. The Youth Academy Of Rhye players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
