Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinho Almeida's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Alfonso Baldassarre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 26th minute of play. Claudinho Almeidas short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, UNLIMITED's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Alfonso Baldassarre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Claudinho Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Claudinho Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Claudinho Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Agustín Saelices left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 39thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UNLIMITED's Alfonso Baldassarre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 董林阳 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by UNLIMITED's 董林阳. But to his dismay, 董林阳 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UNLIMITED's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Richard Häll in the 63rd minute. The corner led UNLIMITED's David Costa to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Baldassarre having to interfere. UNLIMITED's Alfonso Baldassarre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save UNLIMITED from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Rosalio in the 75th minute of play. Alfonso Baldassarre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A collision led to UNLIMITED getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. David Costa hit a great ball. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Almeida in the 82nd minute of the match. Alex Liberti's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Liberti helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Liberti kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Baldassarre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. UNLIMITED succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
