Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sermet Tacal's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Telmo Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Carballar in the 11th minute of play. In the 21st minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Telmo Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match, Fabrício Jardel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Manzanares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 44th match minute, Lupere FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Torres to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, João de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 48 played minutes, Colombia's Axel Montenegro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Telmo Valadares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sermet Tacal made a kick off. Telmo Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 53rd minute of play. Alan das Neves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 54th minute Alan das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lupere FC - DMZ's Telmo Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Abram Sarmiento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Telmo Valadares. The goal made the score 1-1. Joshua Garrido made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Axel Montenegro. With a little luck, Lupere FC - DMZ's Telmo Valadares got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 72nd minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Telmo Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Laerte Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Laerte Torres hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Lupere FC - DMZ's Telmo Valadares got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Telmo Valadares was a little too slow when Abram Secada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 81st minute, Marthen Teitsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sermet Tacal scored 2-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Mastache got free with Telmo Valadares in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Telmo Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Colombia players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
