Igor Kosiorek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Juventus Football Club's Wieslaw Petka fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roland Czerniejewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes Juventus Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Juventus Football Club's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Juventus Football Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Igor Kosiorek came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Juventus Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Kosiorek couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Wieslaw Petka made the kick off in the second half. Juventus Football Club's Deo Mičánek quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Camilo Gisbert, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Kosiorek in the 53rd minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Kosiorek in the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Igor Kosiorek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Igor Kosiorek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Kosiorek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shi Liang Jie hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Juventus Football Club's Jacek Peczkowski was substituted for Wieslaw Petka. Juventus Football Club's Jaroslaw Ledochowski was substituted for Igor Kosiorek. Shi Liang Jie kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Ledochowski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neymar I made a great header on Juventus Football Club's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 91st minute Jaroslaw Ledochowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Xacintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juventus Football Club.
