Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jenson Smith in the 4th minute of play. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Leonard Treppa sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Kamal Pahlevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Pahlevi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's Jefferson Pinheiro got a free kick in the 21st minute. Kamal Pahlevi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Kamal Pahlevi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 26th minute of the match. If Leonard Treppa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Treppa in the 28th minute of play. Kamal Pahlevi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 33rd minute of play. Tirant lo Blanch's Leonard Treppa got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kamal Pahlevi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, Jefferson Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Kamal Pahlevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kamal Pahlevi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tirant lo Blanch's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Cassius Byrne scored to the left of an out of position Kamal Pahlevi, making the score, 0-1. Kamal Pahlevi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 55th minute. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 59th minute of play.
