Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 8 minutes into the match, Velester Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Ferdinando Scarinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Carafa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Velester Football Club's Stephan Wehkamp got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinando Scarinci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Adriano Carafa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriano Carafa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 20 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Carvallo. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Carafa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Velester Football Club's attack was well implemented in the 23rd minute, but when Adriano Carafa was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 25 minutes into the game, Antonio Gulli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Velester Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. The throw-in from Arturo Carvallo in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Velester Football Club's Emanuel Gliga. Ferdinando Scarinci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Antonio Gulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Carafa's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute, Camilo Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Adriano Carafa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Comunardo Valente was the one to do the kick off. When Velester Football Club's Adriano Carafa in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Velester Football Club's Pietro Romeo was substituted for Betão Camargo. The corner led Velester Football Club's Emanuel Gliga to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Velester Football Club made a substitution. Amos Marchesani replaced Antonio Gulli. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Carafa, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Carafa in the 76th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alberto Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Alberto Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Velester Football Club. Emanuel Gliga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. 4-0. Comunardo Valente took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Carafa in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Adriano Carafa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velester Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Adriano Carafa took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.
