Sahnoyan Şah really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Robertinho Teodorowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Sahnoyan Şah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of New England Patriots booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paraguay's Jose Sanz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sahnoyan Şah in the 20 minute of the game. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jose Sanz hit a great ball. If Ricardinho Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Robertinho Teodorowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sahnoyan Şah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Nelsinho Paulista kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacobo Nores. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Robertinho Teodorowski struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New England Patriots. 37 minutes into the game, Sahnoyan Şah recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores. Sahnoyan Şah showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robertinho Teodorowski in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Nelsinho Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sahnoyan Şah in the 54th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sahnoyan Şah, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Didi Castro hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robertinho Teodorowski went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Sahnoyan Şah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Patriots fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sahnoyan Şah in the 82nd minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
