Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Erland Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. Erland Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of play forced Fomac FK's goalkeeper Erland Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddie Sörman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 12th minute Eddie Sörman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flóki Ólafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erland Söderberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erland Söderberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes Fomac FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fomac FK's goalie and right to Juan Sebastián Puig. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fomac FK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Erland Söderberg came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play forced Fomac FK's goalkeeper Erland Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erland Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Fomac FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Pascu to maneuver through the defense. The Fomac FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddie Sörman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andreas Olofsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Andreas Olofsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, Cristian Sancho had to leave the field with a concussion. 60 minutes into the game, Jonny Brattås was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fomac FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Erland Söderberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 69th minute, Diego Mancebo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 72 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Flóki Ólafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Söderberg having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Peder Rolfsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fomac FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peder Rolfsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 91 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Erland Söderberg managed to make a qualified save. Fomac FK's players were relieved. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Erland Söderberg made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Armando Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Söderberg having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
