If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Bernad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Alvarez in the 20th minute of play. In the 28th minute Nicolas Telmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Alvarez. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Ismael Bernad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Alvarez in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Telmo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Moises Gombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. FMArgentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Gombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The FMArgentina fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when FMArgentina's Eloy Alvarez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FMArgentina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Humberto Cisco in the 68th minute. After taking down the ball on FMArgentina's corner Humberto Cisco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FMArgentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. FMArgentina's Ismael Bernad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FMArgentina from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Bernad having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Belarmo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Eloy Alvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Bernad having to interfere.
