Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Evelio Maties hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Apolo Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Victorio Donzel took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Donzel in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apolo Frances. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Apolo Frances kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Apolo Frances let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 23rd minute shot 3-0 at rihgt post. 26 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. EL REY DE LA CARNE's Mauricio Lugo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 30 minutes, Evelio Maties mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL REY DE LA CARNE and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, EL REY DE LA CARNE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Maties to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match, Victorio Donzel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Victoriano Polo fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL REY DE LA CARNE's protests and gave Victoriano Polo a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes EL REY DE LA CARNE got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Polo. Axel Tasis might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Euloxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Tasis ran back to his position shaking his head. EL REY DE LA CARNE's Reynaldo Euloxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 41st minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Donzel in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Victorio Donzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL REY DE LA CARNE's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Donzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Donzel made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Donzel in the 51st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorio Donzel took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 59th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Evelio Maties ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Donzel in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Apolo Frances ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When Alfredo Bertol fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL REY DE LA CARNE's protests and gave Alfredo Bertol a yellow card for diving instead. Reynaldo Euloxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 78th minute. Reynaldo Euloxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 79 minutes EL REY DE LA CARNE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Reynaldo Euloxu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Apolo Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Lautaro Puig made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Euloxu. EL REY DE LA CARNE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 95th minute, Apolo Frances ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. EL REY DE LA CARNE's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
