Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Cahya Tomagola sent off a good shot on target. Zäfär Güläliyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 36th minute of the match. Zäfär Güläliyev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Thiago Pliego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 46 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when David Rodas came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

A hard shot 56 in the game by Mariano Lacasa from a close distance when the talented Zäfär Güläliyev managed to make a qualified save. Los up up's players were relieved. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los up up's goalkeeper Zäfär Güläliyev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zäfär Güläliyev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cahya Tomagola in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zäfär Güläliyev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Los up up's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Los up up's Zäfär Güläliyev got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Cahya Tomagola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cahya Tomagola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Cahya Tomagola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Cahya Tomagola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zäfär Güläliyev made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zäfär Güläliyev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Sabahattin Hanönü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led Chile's Pedro Indiano to fire away a dangerous shot which Zäfär Güläliyev despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Indiano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zäfär Güläliyev. That made the score 1-5 in the 89 minute of play.
