Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tommy Sundberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Waselewicz. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Sundberg in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gottfrid Haström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Sundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Waselewicz got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Pihl United's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Gottfrid Haström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Sundberg. Gottfrid Haström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Tommy Sundberg hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Enrique Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pihl United's protests and gave Enrique Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Panama booed when Pihl United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Jacobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Gottfrid Haström was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abraham Alguacil. Pihl United's Gottfrid Haström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Pihl United from getting a goal against them. Gottfrid Haström made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Felipe Ros sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the game, Enrique Ferreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 66th minute of play forced Pihl United's goalkeeper Gottfrid Haström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Tommy Sundberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute, Pihl United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Berganza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pihl United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luc Fontaine in the 80th minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Ferreira in the 81st minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Pihl United booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Tommy Sundberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Sundberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pihl United had won after a very even match.
