Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sven-Edvin Ahlroth started the match with the kick off. When English Fire's Nae Hăvârneanu in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of play forced English Fire's goalkeeper Dragoş Puric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dragoş Puric narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Dragoş Puric. English Fire's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Edvin Ahlroth got free with Julio Vera in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dragoş Puric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragoş Puric breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye English Fire's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Cristinel Negulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match, Sven-Edvin Ahlroth got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dragoş Puric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Sven-Edvin Ahlroth tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Dragoş Puric was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 51 minute of play. English Fire's Dragoş Puric proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save English Fire from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Dragoş Puric made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Edvin Ahlroth in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven-Edvin Ahlroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Hăvârneanu in the 72nd minute of play. Sven-Edvin Ahlroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nae Hăvârneanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in English Fire's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragoş Puric came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Ahlroth came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when English Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Hăvârneanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When English Fire's Sven-Edvin Ahlroth in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
