Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Olympique de Marseille's Chanboon Saedan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carlo Petrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piboon Thongjib in the 4th minute of play. Rakkiat Wattanont fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Petrini having to interfere. Olympique de Marseille's Carlo Petrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rakkiat Wattanont in the 14th minute of play. Sorapong Tewan was a little too slow when Chanboon Saedan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Buddahs Maggots was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Poonawat Oungtrakoon to maneuver through the defense. Durongrit Khamwong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wipat Padkunjan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Sorapong Tewan made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Pongsakorn Pimphapun sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piboon Thongjib in the 35th minute of play forced Olympique de Marseille's goalkeeper Carlo Petrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Piboon Thongjib had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlo Petrini. Olympique de Marseille's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Piboon Thongjib was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Buddahs Maggots's goalkeeper Sorapong Tewan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sadayut Thanateerasud. In the 40th minute Piboon Thongjib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Petrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warayut Chainet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Petrini having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Piboon Thongjib to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Buddahs Maggots's goal looked a bit too open when Chanboon Saedan came free, but Sorapong Tewan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Aekkapong Luabunnum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Petrini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piboon Thongjib in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Olympique de Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Rakkiat Wattanont came free, but Carlo Petrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Buddahs Maggots's Warayut Chainet seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Warayut Chainet the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Buddahs Maggots protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Warayut Chainet had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 69th minute, Warayut Chainet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saranyu Nutchanart hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Buddahs Maggots's goal looked a bit too open when Pongsakorn Pimphapun came free, but Sorapong Tewan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Chanboon Saedan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorapong Tewan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rakkiat Wattanont could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Carlo Petrini made a huge save. After 81 minutes, Pongsakorn Pimphapun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympique de Marseille and the Buddahs Maggots players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Olympique de Marseille getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Pongsakorn Pimphapun hit a great ball. Carlo Petrini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piboon Thongjib in the 83rd minute. Durongrit Khamwong hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piboon Thongjib got free with Carlo Petrini in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Buddahs Maggots eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
