Maximiliano Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Fusk&Bygg AB booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. The referee gave Fusk&Bygg AB a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pär Kinnman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. 2-1. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rolf Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolf Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Claes Gråberg made in the 26th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Inge Forsell immediately put the ball in play. Francisco Seco scored 2-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolf Pettersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Rolf Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Pettersson having to interfere. Francisco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolf Pettersson having to make a save. 43 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Ferm.

The wind increased when Edgar Ferm made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inge Forsell might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inge Forsell ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Pettersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Rolf Pettersson in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Claes Gråberg in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolf Pettersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Rolf Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After a defensive mix-up in Fusk&Bygg AB's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Pettersson came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 91 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Rolf Pettersson managed to make a qualified save. Fusk&Bygg AB's players were relieved. Karl-Magnus Lilja hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match was over Uruguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fusk&Bygg AB throughout the match.
