The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Salvador España showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 32nd minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manel Cardeñosa was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Van Den Broek came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Gorbea made a great header on Intxaurrondo's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. Maximiliano Escribanos short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Salvador España to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jaime Cazalla charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Cazalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Uruguay players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Intxaurrondo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
