Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aparicio Ladra started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play forced Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Abelardo Macías to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aparicio Ladra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Yasin Saleh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Plaza Babys CF's Aparicio Ladra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Plaza Babys CF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd match minute, Plaza Babys CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pietro Echavarri to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Macías took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plaza Babys CF's Aparicio Ladra got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yasin Saleh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Aparicio Ladra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Aparicio Ladra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Aparicio Ladra fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plaza Babys CF's protests and gave Aparicio Ladra a yellow card for diving instead. Aparicio Ladra hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Abelardo Macías tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Aparicio Ladra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aparicio Ladra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías. Abelardo Macías was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yasin Saleh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abelardo Macías. That made the score 2-2 in the 50 minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abelardo Macías firmly grabbed it by the left post. Yasin Saleh struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plaza Babys CF. Yasin Saleh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aparicio Ladra in the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yasin Saleh in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Plaza Babys CF made a substitution. Pio Checa replaced Roi Morales. Plaza Babys CF made a substitution. Luis-Alfredo Belalcaraz replaced Bernardino Aguilo. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Plaza Babys CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasin Saleh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Abelardo Macías in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abelardo Macías was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Plaza Babys CF's Pietro Echavarri quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 88th minute, Bo Kristiansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plaza Babys CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Macías having to interfere. The Ecuador players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Plaza Babys CF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
