Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 16th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Jenaro to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhao Sen Yang got free with Julio Vera in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of the match. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Andino made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Chiuzbaian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 29th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Chiuzbaian having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Zhao Sen Yang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ivan Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 42nd minute. Zhao Sen Yang took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Petre Iftode. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Zhao Sen Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 62nd minute of the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang. But to his dismay, Zhao Sen Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Mugurel Pandele replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 72nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zhao Sen Yang came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhao Sen Yang couldn't finish the play. Primitivo Grau took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Primitivo Grau scored 7-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
