Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Jorge Campos came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. From close distance Ingars Miders pressed in the 2-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 18 minutes into the game. Jorge Campos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Haciqämbär Carabajal hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Ingars Miders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macaco F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingars Miders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Macaco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haciqämbär Carabajal to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Macaco F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Hermínio Cavalcante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jorge Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 75th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macaco F.C.'s Jorge Campos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Macaco F.C. from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 81 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Jorge Campos managed to make a qualified save. Macaco F.C.'s players were relieved. Jorge Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantin-Maximilian Vennegoor Of Hesselink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Luis Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Macaco F.C. booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than Macaco F.C. and deserved their victory. The Macaco F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
