Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristiano Messi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians's Cristiano Messi. But to his dismay, Cristiano Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corinthians:s goal. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Iván Urtzi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Corinthians booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corinthians's Cristiano Messi got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Almeida having to interfere. If Cristiano Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes, Cristiano Messi made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the game, Şensoy Sualp threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 38th minute, Ignacy Kinic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Cristiano Messi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Corinthians getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Iván Urtzi hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Iván Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Corinthians's Jaime Almeida got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Corinthians's Leopoldo Palmeira. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Cristiano Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 63 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Secada. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Messi in the 67th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play, Corinthians's Cristiano Messi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Corinthians's Cristiano Messi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillermo Mariano got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jose Correa. The supporters of Corinthians booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes in the game Fred Royal did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jiang Yi Chong. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Messi in the 80th minute of the match. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The supporters of Corinthians booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rubinho de Lara hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. José Vítor Ramos scored 5-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 minutes of play, Corinthians's José Vítor Ramos made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there!
