Karl-Åke Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Claus's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Claus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Åke Brummer. Lanzenkirchen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Roque Claus sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Lanzenkirchen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Freytag didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Freytag came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Åke Brummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes Lanzenkirchen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Roque Claus in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Roque Claus made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Lucjan Bejger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Lanzenkirchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolai Nowak to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Lanzenkirchen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Bejger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Claus in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Lanzenkirchen from getting a goal against them. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Claus in the 69th minute of play. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Lanzenkirchen from getting a goal against them. Karl-Åke Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Åke Brummer was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Agustín Saelices capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agustín Saelices really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 82nd minute, Nicolai Nowak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Karl-Åke Brummer in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Lanzenkirchen getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nicolai Nowak hit a great ball. Karl-Åke Brummer made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador played a much better game than Lanzenkirchen and deserved their victory. The Lanzenkirchen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
