Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Axel Tasis put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gilbert Pietras. Lautaro Puig scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilbert Pietras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Pietras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilbert Pietras was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Dropinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 32 minutes into the match, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Gilbert Pietras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylwester Ludwa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. Axel Tasis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilbert Pietras. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Efrain Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Efrain Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Radowit Lewkowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's supporters rose to their feet, but Radowit Lewkowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. A long shot from Radowit Lewkowicz in the 44th minute of play was well struck, but Benito Sanz made a really good save at the right post. After the first half Costa Rica were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 minutes, Dominik Perkowski made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Gilbert Pietras in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Pietras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Tasis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilbert Pietras having to make a save. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gilbert Pietras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Gilbert Pietras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalie prevented a goal. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Pietras having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Gilbert Pietras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominik Perkowski in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Perkowski in the 93rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominik Perkowski in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see RW AHLEN-KNURÓW lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
